“Iron rusts from disuse; stagnant water loses its purity and in cold weather becomes frozen; even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind.” Leonardo da Vinci

Winter is here, and it’s cold outside unless your African American homeschooling in Miami.

Time to turn up the heat in the home and our homeschooling curriculum to insure their fertile minds are focused on a positive foundation in education.

Da Vinci was very insightful in making the minds of genius bloom to their fullest. We have Kwanzaa celebrations to complete and continue to stoke the fires of our culture into our homeschooling curriculum as memorial to our rich and vast heritage.

Teach your children to be teachers…each one teach one.

  1. Homeschoolers might be interested in a new book series called “EasyTerms” that can help college students (and those in 11th and 12th grades who will go to college soon.)

The books help students to learn the key terms in various subjects so they can then grasp the overall material better and faster.

    There’s more information at: http://ApplecreekBooks.weebly.com

There’s also a link at the site to a new (and FREE!) blog (starting 1/2/2010) called “Scientific Words of the Week.”
